Want To save time and get your book in front of Publishers in the right way?

The Formula isn't a secret. It's straightforward. Find out how to write your pitch package - save time and money

Attention: Writers, poets and creatives

I have put together a method that is easy, simple and fast to help you write a better pitch package

From: Nadia Maddy

My name is Nadia Maddy, I'm excited because I want to show you an easy, simple and faster way to prepare your pitch package and help you get published.

The reason I decided to set up this short course is that I realize many people finish their books but few know how to package their work to Literary Agents and Publishers. I know this because I get hundreds of emails asking me for assistance all the time.

But before I give you access to the course, I want to tell you the backstory of how it came to this.

GET YOUR PITCH PACKAGE NOW!!!

My creative journey started with writing and producing documentaries for Channel 4 in the UK.

I teamed up with award-winning playwright and mentor, Finn Kennedy compiling three performances at the Half Moon Theatre, Limehouse, London.

When I decided to write the first novel I had no idea how much it would change my life.

I finished my debut novel "The Palm Oil Stain"

about the Sierra Leonean war two months before Charles Taylor was found guilty of war crimes and sentenced at the Hague.

There was no time for me to get my teeth into where I could be published because I had to keep the momentum with his sentencing so I had to do a lot of the preparation myself and thus I learnt a lot so much more about publishing than I bargained for.

I appeared on BBC News Have Your Say, BBC Focus on Africa, and The Voice Newspaper.

In 2014, I started an annual writing competition in Sierra Leone, West Africa for young people in honour of my father, Sierra Leonean playwright, Yulisa Amadu Maddy. That's when writers started approaching me with questions about publishing.

I launched Indie Book Show Africa in 2017

A Youtube channel dedicated to African Literature reviews. I became an international Speaker and was commissioned to write screenplays for I factory productions.

In 2022, The Palm Oil Stain features in the highly anticipated academic reference book, War, Women and Post Conflict Empowerment (Bloomsbury 2022) as a transformational narrative documenting the successes and challenges of women's lives in a post-conflict environment.

I truly understand that most people have spent so much time writing and editing their manuscripts.

By the time the book is written, they are too exhausted to start researching individual Publishers, and literary agents to find out what they are looking for - let alone how to package and pitch it!

We know you don't have much time as you have spent most of it writing your book.

And now I want to help you get published. That's why the course HOW TO GET PUBLISHED was created. I'll give you exactly what you need. Short. Compact. Step by step.

Testimonials

As a new author and Illustrator of my own children’s book “Round and Round” I found the classes very informative. Nadia's vast wealth of knowledge had me writing pages of very useful notes on how I can improve my writing and publishing. The part of the course I really enjoyed was about building characters, their motivations and having a good idea of the over all message you want to give your readers. These classes have been very helpful to my Journey as an author and would recommend them to anyone interested in the publishing world.
